Gallery 533 is a Toronto Contemporary Art Gallery representing well known artists from around the globe as well as emerging and mid-career artists from Canada and the United States. We also consign and purchase art from estates. We have a large collection of Japanese prints. Most of the work available in the gallery may be viewed on our website. We provide a welcoming environment for both new and experienced collectors.

The Gallery’s hours of operation are noon to 5pm on Wednesday and Thursday, noon to 6pm on Friday, and 11am to 5pm on Saturday. For an appointment during off hours, please call us at 416-955-0004.

Terms, Policies, Conditions
At Gallery533, it is our sincere desire to make acquiring fine art an enjoyable experience for our clients, and to that end, our purchasing policy is both inviting and approachable. Upon request, we shall send you a detailed condition report, which you may then review with us. Our clients must prepay for all of their artwork, along with crating, shipping, and insurance. Upon delivery, should the client decide that the artwork is not what was expected, it may be returned for a full refund. In that case, the client needs only to arrange and pay for the return, re-crating, and insurance. The artwork must naturally be in a condition that coincides with the original condition report.

We provide consultation services for private and corporate clients as well as professionals. We can advise on collecting or purchasing your first piece.

Purchase or Consignment of Estate Artwork
Please contact the gallery directly. Please provide as much of the following information as possible:
• Artist, title, size, medium, date, signature, condition
• The history/provenance of the artwork (eg. when and where acquired/copy of original invoice if available)
• Other useful supporting documentation that may be available for the artwork (eg. previous appraisals and certificates of authenticity)
